Northwest Trail Alliance: connecting cyclists to trails and an organization to its mission

At Red Bridge Group we are honored when we can help emerging, community-based organizations evolve. Northwest Trail Alliance, a nonprofit serving the mountain bike community in Portland, OR, was at an inflection point. Once an entirely volunteer-run organization, its board had begun to hire full-time, professional staff. They needed help with their transition from a hands-on, working board to a board of governance and oversight. Red Bridge Group provided organizational consultation that illuminated a path forward so that board members could hand off daily duties to new leadership and turn their focus to building the organization's bright future.
